Abstract

The relationship of female sport involvement and class based on the BSRI median-split sex role classifications as well as differences in sport involvement and class based on actual BSRI masculinity and femininity scale scores were examined. The Bem Sex Role Inventory and median-split method were utilized to classify subjects as androgynous, masculine, feminine, or undifferentiated.
