Women athletes; High school students -- Attitudes
The purpose of this study was to assess whether locale and/or sex differences exit in high school students' perceptions of the ideal female versus women participating in competitive athletics. A secondary purpose was to discover if certain activities in which women compete were more acceptable to the high school athletes.
