Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine whether or not playing multiple sports throughout the course of one year provides greater physical fitness benefits to the athlete than playing a single-sport. A comparison of physical fitness between high school athletes in Japan and the US was made to examine the effect of different school athletic programs and cultures.
