Description/Question

Paul expresses the idea that there are so many different Ithaca Colleges, and the enormous expansion of the campus itself is a story of its own, with all that needed to go into raising the money and the complicated processes of creating the buildings themselves. He would also include information on the college presidents and the times in which they served, and the shift in administration across higher education. He describes research he was doing on the history of the academic and military relationship at Cornell, and Jacob Gould Schurman, a former president of Cornell University, and relates Schurman's views on what higher education should be.
