Abstract

The (Formula presented) yield has been measured in a sample of two-jet continuum events containing both a charm tag (Formula presented) as well as an antiproton (Formula presented) with the antiproton in the hemisphere opposite the (Formula presented) (measurement of charge conjugate modes is implicit throughout). Under the hypothesis that such selection criteria tag (Formula presented) events, the (Formula presented) branching fraction can be determined by measuring the (Formula presented) yield in the same hemisphere as the antiprotons in our (Formula presented) sample. Three types of (Formula presented) charm tags are used, (Formula presented) (from (Formula presented) electrons (from (Formula presented) and fully reconstructed (Formula presented) or (Formula presented) or (Formula presented) Combining our results obtained from the three independent charm tags, we obtain (Formula presented). © 2000 The American Physical Society.
