Activation and sport performance: some coaching guidelines
What is the relationship between activation and sport performance? How can this information be utilized to best advantage by team sport coaches? In this article three variables are identified which must be considered when planning activation techniques: nature of the task, skill level of the athletes, and individual differences. In each case specific suggestions for application are provided. These suggestions stem from the variables mentioned but are not necessarily restricted to them.
