A low-current low-energy-spread duoplasmatron ion source
Design and operation of a simple duoplasmatron particularly suited for low energy atomic ion scattering experiments are described. With permanent magnets and air cooling, it produces ion currents of about 100 μA having an energy spread of only a few electron volts. © 1971 The American Institute of Physics.
